Denver's Most Valued Office Space Can Be Found on 17th Street

Location, location, location.

When it comes to Denver Office Space, 17th Street is where it's at.

As this story explains, the financial district street is Denver's “Most Expensive Street for Office Space,” according to a report released earlier this month by Jones Lang LaSalle.

Rent on 17th Street ranks 27th in the nation, but its rental rates don't even come close to the top five most expensive streets for office space nationwide. The most expensive street was Sand Hill Road in Menlo Park, California, with an average full-service rent on the street at $114 per square foot. In second place was Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, at $97.

“Rents for office space in these streets were almost 90 percent higher than the average rents in the same metropolitan area,” John Sikaitis, JLL’s senior vice president of research, said in a news release. “Location is everything in real estate and this study proves it. Despite economic conditions, demand for these prime and often prestigious addresses continues to be high.”
